Heart Evangelista, Jinkee Pacquiao twinning in these rare Hermès bags

Heart Evangelista and Jinkee Pacquiao share a love for Hermès bags.

In fact, they have very similar tastes when it comes to the French luxury brand’s iconic Birkin bag.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) lists some of the rare Birkin bags both Heart and Jinkee have added to their ever-growing collection.

Hermès Shadow Birkin

The Hermès Shadow Birkin Nata Swift first appeared on Heart’s Instagram feed on December 26, 2022.

Heart used the bag while shopping for groceries in Paris, France.

In the caption of her post, the Kapuso actress quipped, “Yung inutusan kang bumili ng tinapay ng kapatid mo [emoji]”

Jinkee also owns the same bag, which she posted on Instagram last January 5, 2023.

“[Emojis] shadow,” she wrote in the caption of her post.

According to collectingluxury.com, the Hermès Shadow Birkin “is super rare and a limited edition for super VIP customers.”

The Shadow Birkin was first introduced in 2009 by Jean Paul Gaultier, who served as the brand’s creative director from 2003 to 2010.

Straying away from the bag’s original design, the French designer stripped off the Shadow Birkin’s hardware, sangles, and top flap, and used the trompe l’oeil effect or optical illusion to make its flat surface look three-dimensional.

The 25cm edition of this bag was sold at 1stDibs.com for USD50,400 or PHP2,764,591.20.

Hermès Cargo Birkin

Heart and Jinkee also have the limited edition Hermès Cargo Birkin.

Both fashionistas own the Nata or cream version of the bag.

Heart posted a photo of her Cargo Birkin on December 22, 2022, after she “took a little shopping trip” in Paris.

Jinkee toted hers during a Japan trip with her husband, former senator Manny Pacquiao.

PEP.ph spotted the bag on Jinkee’s “Happy New Year” post last December 31, 2022.

Jinkee also owns another Cargo Birkin in Veau Swift Desert / Sesame color which she brought during her trip to Bali, Indonesia in September 2022.

Hermès Cargo Birkin made its debut in 2020. It is usually crafted with Goeland canvas and leather trims.

The Nata version in 25cm is being sold at 1stDibs.com for USD58,875 or PHP3,269,063.81.

Meanwhile, the 25cm Cargo Birkin in Veau Swift Desert / Sesame was recently sold for EUR42,030 or PHP2,470,817.22 on SACLAB.com.

Hermès Himalayan Birkin

Before the Shadow and Cargo Birkins, Heart and Jinkee were already twinning in their 25cm Hermès Himalaya Birkin, which is considered the holy grail of all Birkins.

According to Christies.com, the estimated price of the bag is between USD100,000 or PHP5,475,200 and USD150,000 or PHP8,212,800.

In the reseller market, this rare bag can be sold for USD240,000 or PHP13,140,720 to USD300,000 or PHP16,425,900.
