Dingdong Avanzado reveals advice to daughter Jayda about entertaining suitors

Sagot ni Dingdong sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kamakailan, “I don’t think any dad will ever be ready.

“Ang pinaka-reaction ko diyan, it’s part of the circle of time.”

Pagtuloy niya, “I keep telling her, ‘Know your priorities and responsibilities attached to it.’

“Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘If you decide to go to a relationship or start going out and meeting guys, make sure kilalanin mong mabuti.'”

“Ang maganda kay Jayda, she’s very focused. Of course, she has her crushes, mayroon siyang mga nagugustuhan.

“Pero we feel, kami ng mommy niya, she’s very responsible and alam niya paano i-handle yun.”

It doesn’t matter as long as tama ang trato sa kanya, nirerespeto siya.

“Importante sa lahat yun, yung rerespetuhin siya.”

ON JAYDA’S SINGING CAREER

“I’m excited for her because alam ko yung passion ni Jayda, grabe yung love niya for her music, her craft.

“As parents, we’re really proud of her, and we’re here to support her. Gusto naming ma-reach niya yung full potential niya as an artist.

Ang importante longevity, kasi a lot of artists, sisikat tapos di naman masu-sustain.

“I keep telling her, for me, it’s not about making it big but making it last.

“Sabi ko sa kanya, you strive to learn and improve your craft. That’s what makes people gravitate towards you.

“Pag alam nila at nakikita nila na ang music mo ay galing sa puso mo, talagang ramdam ka nila, they will keep coming back and support you.”
