Celeste Cortesi’s best fashion moments at Miss Universe 2022

Philippine bet Celeste Cortesi is shining as one of the most stylish beauty queens vying for the Miss Universe 2022 title.

The 25-year-old Filipino-Italian model and youth empowerment advocate has been going for a classy “It Girl” vibe with her monochromatic OOTDs—made mostly by Filipino fashion designers—for the Miss Universe 2022 pageant.

Celeste’s impeccable styling is courtesy of celebrity stylist Perry Tabora, who has dressed some of the country’s top stars including Liza Soberano, Janella Salvador, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

BOLD RED

Celeste captured the hearts of pageant fans all over the world with her chic red arrival OOTD on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

The beauty queen arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana wearing a fur-lined red patent coat. She wore this over a red dress and a matching pair of thigh-high boots.

Prior to this, Celeste went for a sophisticated look in her red Filipiniana dress designed by Chris Nick Delos Reyes.

Celeste wore the Filipiniana dress during her intimate send-off party hosted by Charina Vergara at Titas of Manila, a well-known Filipino restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

Her dress was complemented by her nude pumps and pearl jewelry from Jewelmer.

ALL BLACK

Celeste was also dressed to kill in these all-black OOTDs.

On Thursday, January 5, 2023, Celeste shared on Instagram her first all-black ensemble which she wore to some pre-pageant activities and rehearsals.

The Filipina beauty queen wore a form-fitting little black dress paired with a fully sequined black coat, which was also designed by Chris Nick.

“Hello Universe [black heart emoji] Busy day ahead [emoji],” she wrote in the caption of her post.

On Sunday, January 8, 2023, Celeste wore another all-black OOTD to the rehearsals. This time, she wore a matte black trench coat over her black spaghetti strap top and pants.

She posted a photo of her OOTD on Instagram with the caption: “Goodnight New Orleans [emoji].”

CRISP WHITE

Celeste was clad in a more casual OOTD on Monday, January 9, 2023.

She wore a white turtleneck shirt paired with skinny jeans. Celeste kept herself warm with a faux fur jacket.

In the caption of her Instagram post, she wrote, “Today’s look [emoji] Days are getting busier and busier but super excited for what’s to come!! [emoji]”

Later that day, she donned a crisp white power suit and coat at the Miss Universe 2022 welcome press conference held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

Her outfit was also designed by Chris Nick.

SPARKLES AND GOLD

On January 5, 2023, Celeste stood out during the fittings and registration in a custom-made glitter suit by Chynna Mamawal.

Celeste finished the look with her Louis Vuitton Damier bag.

She wore this gold breastplate during her photo shoot with MUBA Cosmetics, one of the major sponsors of the pageant, with four other Miss Universe 2022 candidates.

FEATHER AND FUR

On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Celeste reached her 500,000 follower mark on Instagram and celebrated the milestone in a pink ostrich feather dress by Christine Lam.

The Pinay beauty queen wrote in an Instagram post: “HAPPY 500k! [pink hearts emoji] You guys are amazing [butterfly emojis]”

On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, Celeste dripped in gold in a metallic slip dress by Michael Leyva, which she wore with a white faux fur coat and styled with a silver glitter minaudière.

Celeste is among the 84 candidates who are competing in the annual beauty pageant’s 71st edition in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The pageant’s grand coronation night takes place on January 14, 2023, at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
