Kris Aquino to extend stay in the U.S.; says her illness causes “sagad sa buto” pain

Ibinalita ni Kris Aquino na miss na niya ang Pilipinas, pero matatagalan pa ang pananatili niya sa U.S.

Anim na buwan mula nang lumipad siya patungong Houston, Texas, nag-file daw siya ng extension sa U.S. Immigration dahil hindi pa siya makakauwi.

Base ito sa Instagram post ni Kris ngayong Huwebes, November 24, 2022.

Nasa “step 1” pa raw kasi siya ng tinatayang “18 months” na diagnosis at treatment para sa kanyang autoimmune diseases.

Kuwento pa ni Kris, naka-sign up siya sa ospital para sa rare and undiagnosed illnesses, at ang huling test results niya ay “conflicting” pa.

Kaya patuloy raw siyang sumasangguni sa team of multidisciplinary doctors.

“Iba ang process dito. My 1st step was submitting all my medical records from 2018 when my autoimmune was 1st diagnosed in Singapore;

“i had a teleconsult w/ the assigned doctor-coordinator for me, then we’ll do a video consult in 2 weeks.

“i’ll be admitted early 2023 to undergo every imaginable test they’ll deem necessary,” lahad ni Kris.

Saka pa lang daw malalaman kung ano talaga ang treatment na nararapat sa iba’t ibang automimmune condition niya.

Sabi pa ni Kris: “…the coordinator admitted I’m a ‘challenge’ since i’m allergic to so many types of medicine including all steroids.

“Pang case study daw ako- 1 person with multiple autoimmune conditions & over 100 known allergic or adverse reactions to medication.”

KEEPING THE FAITH

Sa kabila ng karamdaman, pilit daw nagpapakatatag si Kris.

Nilakipan niya ang kanyang post ng litrato ng mga anak na sina Joshua at Bimby dahil “they are my REASONS kung bakit TULOY ANG LABAN, BAWAL SUMUKO.”

Aniya (published as is), “i pray for the blessing to be healthy enough to still be their mama-the one who would cook, travels for fun, goes to Church, and watches movies w/ them. All in God’s perfect time…”

Hindi raw biro ang dinadaanan niyang health condition kunsaan ang sintomas ay “tinitiis yung matinding sakit (sagad sa buto) while allergic to all pain relievers; the constant fatigue, awful sense of balance, nonstop dry cough & shortness of breath.”

Dahil siya ay “immunocompromised,” lubos ang pag-iingat niya. Mula noong June ay hindi pa raw siya nakakapunta sa restaurant, store, supermarket, at mall.

Nagpasalamat siya kay Catholic Archbishop Socrates Villegas, Carmelite sisters sa Quezon na araw-araw siyang ipinagdarasal, at sa mga kaibigang taga-Iglesia ni Cristo na personal na bumisita sa kanya sa U.S.

KRIS’S POST LAST SEPTEMBER

Sa post ni Kris noong September 2022, sinabi niyang apat ang auto-immune conditions niya kabilang ang chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, at vasculitis o late stage 3 ng Churg Strauss Sundrome.

Tatlo rito ay na-diagnose sa Pilipinas, at ang isa ay natuklasan ng kanyang mga doktor sa Houston, Texas.

Nilinaw rin noon ni Kris na wala siyang cancer, pero posibleng gamitan siya ng “safest form of chemotherapy” para sa kanyang autoimmune conditions.

Pero tila hindi pa iyon pinal base sa latest IG post niya.
