Grace Lee recalls high-profile dating experience with late President Noynoy Aquino

“I found out very early in the morning and I found out before it came out in the news.

“Of course, I feel bad for him, but he had been in pain also,” sabi ni Grace tungkol sa dating Pangulo ng bansa na naugnay sa kanya noong 2012.

DATED FOR SIX MONTHS

“We’re not together. We just dated for six months. Dated lang, we’re not together,” diin ni Grace.

“One of the things I hated about that part in my life, which was so traumatizing for me, is that people were talking about my private life.

“That’s why sabi ko, never again. Never again will I ever, like, date or go out with someone na high-profile because it’s too much.”

Sabi pa niya: “There are people who enjoy it, I absolutely hated it.

“Okay lang yung pinag-uusapan yung work ko tapos nakikita ako ng mga tao on TV or hear me on radio, but that’s work.

“But when it becomes your personal life, then you land on front page with quotation, you never said it, ‘Oh my god, I’m gonna sue you.’

“But of course, you cannot sue them because you guys are in the same industry.”

“he couldn’t do anything about it.”

“I was so young. I was 28 that time. Looking back, I think, if I had been this age back then, I would have handled it so much better.

“But at that time, I took everything so personally, everything! So I dreaded dating him.

“There was a certain point, the only time it was good, I think, was before people found out.”

“Once people found out, it was really dreadful.

“And I actually felt bad for him also because he also felt bad about it, but he couldn’t do anything about it either. He’s the president of the country.

“But I don’t regret it because he was such a good person.”
